Crypto alarm clock: Bitcoin price under pressure, Wednesday becomes important

The Bitcoin price started Tuesday with a slight decline on the second trading day of the week. In 24 hours, this is a decrease of about 0.63 percent. That brings Bitcoin to just below the $82,000 level.

Although the Bitcoin price has fallen by its current level compared to 24 hours ago, it has managed to recover in recent hours.

A few hours ago, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading close to $81,000. Meanwhile, the $82,000 level is coming back into view.

For the time being, there do not seem to be any serious causes behind it. The only thing we can point to at the moment is a new rise in oil prices.

In addition, the stock markets in Asia have generally opened with red figures, Europe seems to open in the same way and the situation in the United States is somewhat more divided.

There are few important events on the economic calendar for Tuesday. That could change on Wednesday, when Tesla and Mark Zuckerberg's company Meta Platforms, among others, present their quarterly figures.

Although these companies have little direct influence on Bitcoin, their results can determine sentiment in the financial markets. Meta's figures in particular are becoming important as investors become increasingly critical of the huge investments in artificial intelligence (AI).

If Tesla and Meta surprise positively, that can restore confidence in the technology sector. Investors may then be more willing to take risks, which can also be beneficial for the Bitcoin price.

Disappointing figures can, on the contrary, cause new unrest. If investors doubt whether the billions invested in AI will yield sufficient returns, technology stocks may come under pressure. Bitcoin can also be dragged into this.

In addition, Bitcoin usually benefits from periods when there is a lot of money available in the financial markets and lending is growing. When companies and investors can access capital more easily, some of it can also flow towards Bitcoin.
