ASML will pay dividends next week: that's how much you get with 100 shares
ASML will pay dividends again on 4 November. Find out how much 100 shares yield and why the total payout is rising sharply this year.
ASML will again pay dividends to its shareholders next week. On Wednesday 4 November, the Dutch chip machine manufacturer will pay 1.88 euros per share. Anyone who owns 100 shares and has bought them on time will receive 188 euros gross.
The upcoming benefit is the same as that of 5 August. Compared to a year ago, shareholders do get more. In November 2025, ASML still paid 1.60 euros per share. This represents an increase of 17.5 percent.
Not everyone who now owns ASML shares is entitled to the dividend. Only investors who bought their shares no later than Friday 23 October will receive the distribution. Anyone who boarded on Monday 26 October or later is no longer eligible.
ASML usually pays dividends four times a year. For the whole of 2025, the company paid 7.50 euros per share, compared to 6.40 euros in 2024.
Shareholders have not only received dividends, but have also benefited from the rising share price.
On Tuesday 27 October, ASML's share on the Amsterdam stock exchange closed at 1,470 euros. On Wednesday afternoon, the exchange rate was around 1,487 euros. A package of 100 shares was therefore worth about 148,700 euros.
Compared to that value, the dividend is modest. The annual dividend yield is around 0.5 percent. This means that an investment of 10,000 euros yields about 50 euros in dividends per year, assuming the current yield.
For many investors, ASML is therefore mainly about growth opportunities. The Dutch company makes advanced machines that enable chip manufacturers to produce increasingly powerful chips.
This technology is important for, among other things, artificial intelligence and data centers. Due to the growing demand for chips, ASML has built up a strong position and is now one of the most valuable companies in Europe.
