Crypto price update: Bitcoin resumes important level and altcoins feathers on
Bitcoin and the rest of the crypto market are picking up after some bloody days. This is the current state of the market.
After yesterday's massacre, things look a lot better today. Bitcoin (BTC) is trying to recapture an important level and altcoins are showing a strong recovery. While market sentiment has deteriorated quite a bit, there are hopeful similarities with a month back.
In this price update, we will tell you exactly how the crypto market is currently doing.
It is the first time this week that the crypto market is turning green. After a total loss of almost 250 billion dollars, all coins together have recovered by almost 3 percent since the low.
Bitcoin is gaining a bit of market share again, because it performs slightly better than most other coins. The crypto king has now recovered by 3.15 percent since last night's low.
Yesterday at 20:00, Bitcoin hit a bottom of $80,365, marking the lowest level since September 20. Since then, the course has only been climbing and it has been hanging around $83,000 for a while now.
Bitcoin has made a bounce from its 50-day average and thus the price remains above the important level that still offered resistance in May, August and September.
If we zoom in a bit further, we see that Bitcoin is currently battling it out with the lost support around 83,000 dollars. If the price can stay above this level, we could get a repeat of last month.
At the time of writing, the BTC price is at 82,788 dollars, 2.07 percent higher than 24 hours ago. In euros, 74,007 are now paid for the largest crypto.
The rest of the crypto market is also a bit higher than yesterday. Ethereum (ETH) is up 2.27 percent, Ripple (XRP) is up 2.20 percent, and Hyperliquid (HYPE) is up 2.48 percent.
Solana (SOL) is slightly behind with an increase of 0.59 percent, while Zcash (Zec) is making a profit of 8.48 percent. Only yesterday, the privacy coin was one of the biggest losers.
