XRP, HYPE and NEAR are having a hard time as Bitcoin proves itself again
Bitcoin is putting its best foot forward with a powerful recovery, while many altcoins are still in the red. Here's what you need to know.
Bitcoin (BTC) pulled out all the stops last night with an impressive recovery. Yesterday's sharp decline was made up for in a short time, but the rest of the crypto market is lagging behind the facts. Altcoins such as Ripple (XRP), Hyperliquid (HYPE) and NEAR Protocol (NEAR) are clearly struggling a bit more today.
On the hourly chart, Bitcoin has closed six candles in a row in green, which is a special series. The crypto currency has become over 2,000 dollars more valuable, while tech stocks are taking a hard hit (especially in Asia).
Tonight at 2:50 am our time was set at a low of just under $81,000 and then the price has recovered by 3.50 percent to $83,800.
The resistance between roughly 81,000 and 82,500 dollars seems to have been transformed into support. And for the second time in a short time, it has offered 50-day average salvation.
The fact that Bitcoin holds up above these levels offers a lot of hope. The bulls seem to want to make another attempt to break through the next hurdle around $87,000.
At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price is at 83,761 dollars, only 0.43 percent lower than 24 hours ago.
So positive signals, but there is not so much to see on the altcoin market at the moment.
Although almost all coins made a climb last night, most of the figures are not yet to be written about a house. Ethereum (ETH) is currently 1.57 percent cheaper, XRP 2.84 percent, Solana (SOL) 4.06 percent and Dogecoin (DOGE) 3.31 percent.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) is even 5.38 percent in the minus, Zcash (Zec) has fallen 8.34 percent and NEAR is facing a loss of 9.88 percent.
NEAR reached its highest point since January 2025 yesterday, but there was not enough strength behind the movement to hold it on its own.
There are some coins that know how to surpass Bitcoin. For example, privacy currency Monero, a competitor of Zcash, is 1.01 percent higher than yesterday. AI Coin Render (RENDER) is up 5.09 percent,
Chainlink competitor Pyth Network (Pyth) has won 7.02 percent and Bitcoin Scaling Project Stacks (STX) dominates the list with a profit of 10.67 percent.
