Pi Network reveals four major updates: this is changing for users

Pi Network (PI) has announced four new updates to further expand its ecosystem. The improvements should make it easier for developers to build apps, while giving users more insight into crypto tokens. The project also uses artificial intelligence to make new applications available faster.

The first update focuses on the Developer Portal, the platform that developers use to manage their applications.

Thanks to a new interface, they can now adjust settings such as domain names, access keys and cryptowallets in one place. It also makes it easier to add Pi payments and login features.

In addition, Pi BlockExplorer will have a new function. Users can now view historical price data of tokens on the test network, including SLICE.

This allows them to track price movements without opening the Pi Browser or having a Pi account. The feature should also become available for tokens on the main network later. Pi emphasizes that the current test tokens are never transferred to the main network.

The third update relates to SoloHost, which allows developers to offer applications through Pi Desktop.

Thanks to a new feature, AI programs such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex can help prepare apps for publication. This means that part of the technical work is carried out automatically. Finally, PiVerify will be extended. This third-party identity service gets additional checks to better recognize duplicate accounts and fake users.

The technology builds on Pi Network's existing identity verification system and is designed to help businesses fight fraud and abuse. The announcement follows the recent release of Pi Desktop 0.6.4, which further simplified the use of SoloHost.

The new features will also appear in the run-up to the Pi Ecosystem Summit, which will take place from 17 to 19 November. During that event, Pi Network wants to announce more plans for its developer platform.
