Berkshire Hathaway falls, Twilio rises, Sunoco-Parkland deal

The S&P 500 retreating after its longest winning streak in over 20 years. Berkshire Hathaway shares are sliding after CEO Warren Buffett said he will step down by the end of the year. He took over the then textile company in 1965. Vice Chairman Greg Abel set to replace Buffett effective January 1st. Twilio getting a lift as HSBC Securities upgrades the stock to hold from reduce, HSBC citing signs of growth for the cloud communications company. It comes after Twilio’s first quarter earnings beat and a better than expected full year organic revenue growth outlook. Lastly, US gas station operator Sunoco agreeing to acquire Canadian fuel distributor Parkland for about $9.1 billion.
