Now let’s look ahead to earnings reports we’re watching out for next week. Advanced Micro Devices, Disney Ford, all expected to share their quarterly reports. Chipmaker AMD projecting $7.1 billion in estimated revenue and also anticipates to post quarterly earnings of 93 cents per share. AMD last reported its fourth quarter results in February, where announced a 24% year-over-year jump in revenue, reaching a record 7.66 billion that came with a 42% jump in adjusted earnings per share to 109. This month alone shares have returned about 3%. AMD recently overtook Intel, remember, in the data center space, and could also challenge Nvidia when it comes to AI chips. Meanwhile, Disney’s revenue is expected to rise nearly 4 and a half percent year over year to 23 billion when it reports on Wednesday. Disney’s earnings per share is estimated to be 121, that’s down from 176 per share last quarter. Analysts predict a small bump and paid subscribers for Hulu and ESPN Plus in the company’s digital offerings. And Ford driving into earnings Monday, revenue expectations are 36.7 billion, that’s down from 44.9 billion reported last quarter. Investors will benefit from a dividend from Ford announced this week. It says it will pay 15 cents per share on June 2nd. And that’s what to watch.
