Time now for what to watch next week. We’re gonna start off on the earnings front, the magnificent seven is in focus next week with earnings coming in from Tesla and Google parent company Alphabet. Tesla announcing results for the first quarter after the market’s closed on Tuesday, analyst expecting Q1 to mark the bottom for Elon Musk company with recall and protest headlines signaling a tough first quarter. Yahoo! Finance is going to have a special coverage of all things Tesla on Tuesday with coverage starting at 4:00 p.m. Eastern. Now, taking a look at the Fed, going to be getting a big batch of commentary throughout the week from Fed officials. This is coming after a sharp sell-off yesterday following comments from Fed chair Jerome Powell, Powell saying that the effects of tariffs are moving the Fed away from its dual mandate goal of price stability and maximum employment. And moving over to housing, some fresh housing data coming in on Wednesday with new home sales. Com is forecasting sales to increase to 683,000, which would make it the third straight month of gains.
